    Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology (CIPET) is an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 certified laboratory by NABL along with recognition and accreditation from a large number of national and regional bodies. The institute is one of the forerunners in the Asian front and to constantly keep up its position it has indulged in several international collaborations. The laboratory provides services required for assessment of polymers, plastics and composites to meet domestic and global yardsticks. The tests are executed in well-equipped and high-tech labs to ensure the high-end services to clienteles – plastics and allied industries. The laboratories also offer calibration facilities in manufacturing , Research and Development, Testing and Engineering organizations nationwide, ensuring highly précise services. It offers calibrations for instruments involved in measuring dimension, temperature, volume, time, rpm, pressure, and force, mass and electrical instruments.
