    About Pesticide Residues Laboratory, (S K N Agriculture University, Jobner) Division of Entomology, Rajasthan Agricultural Research Institute (RARI)

    Rajasthan Agricultural Research Institute (RARI) came into being in 1943 in Jaipur, Rajasthan is a crop research institute. It aims at enhancing the productivity and profitability of the crop production and sustainability of the environment along with it. Various new technologies for irrigation and nutrient management are used. The Pesticide Residue Laboratory at the RARI provides methods for the testing of pesticide contamination of ground water with chemicals like aldrin, endosulfan sulfate, chlopyriphos. It also is a well-equipped to test for the pesticides contamination in vegetables with high moisture and low fat, cereals and pulses with fat content of <2%. It helps in providing safer edible crop products.
