    About Pesticide Residues Laboratory, (AINP on Pesticide Residues)

    Agriculutural fields are treated with pesticides to protect the crops against pest infections but the chemicals in the pesticide can even cause harm to the crop consumers. Thus, it becomes essential for us to check for the presence of such chemicals in the vegetables and fruits before making them available in the market to sell. Pesticide Residues Laboratory in Hyderabad, Telangana aims at checking for such pesticide residue chemicals in the fruits and vegetables. Tests to check for the concentration of chemicals like o,p DDT, Ethion, Endosufan sulphate, p,p DDT, Fenpropathrin, Cyfluthrin and many more in fruits (Grapes, Pomegranate, Banana, Mango, Sweet Oranges & Guava) , Vegetables (Tomato, Brinjal, Okra, Green Chilli, Cabbage, Cauliflower & Capsicum), Cereals (Rice & Wheat) and Pulses (Redgram, Blackgram & Greengram) are conducted in this laboratory.
