Central Drugs Testing Laboratory in Chennai is one of the eight national drug-testing laboratories of India. It provides testing and analysis services in compliance to the Drug and Cosmetics Act, 1940. It provides chemical testing of various drugs such as isoniazid, thiamine mononitrate, amoxicillin, rifampicin and chloramphenicol. It checks for the description, identification, and loss on drying in these pharmaceutical compounds.
