    BPCL quality assurance lab, established in 1952 is a Navaratna PSU which offers proficiency testing programs to fulfill needs and demands of petroleum sector laboratories in the country to enhance the petroleum sector. For providing these testing facilities the lab is located in Sewree, Mumbai City, Maharashtra. The lab provides proficiency and chemical testing on Petroleum Products like Motor Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene, ATF, Fuel Oil, Lubricants which undergo tests for parameters like Density, Distillation, Acidity, Ash Content, Freezing Point, Pour Point, Viscosity Index, Water Content, Smoke Point and many more. The lab offers proficiency test that allows the participating lab to assess its own competency to perform the various lab tests, thereby helping customers to understand lab testing capabilities. The lab is equipped with technical machinery and professionals to provide reliable services.
