    Usha Martin Limited, established in 1961 is world’s largest wire rope manufacturer. It is located in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The lab provides in-house rope testing facilities. The facilities include chemical and mechanical testing. Chemical testing is done on wires & ropes, the tests which these materials undergo is mass of zinc coating. Also, the lab provides mechanical testing on materials like wires & ropes, pre-stressed concrete strand, steel wires etc., the tests which these materials undergo are tensile strength, modulus of elasticity, horizontal and vertical relaxation, diameter measurement, torsion and many more. The lab also provides fatigue testing using twin reverse bend. It has wide infrastructure for providing above mentioned facilities and it also has 1700 professionals working together to provide world class testing facilities.
