It is an undertaking of Ratnesh group, pvt., ltd. Its operative bases are located in Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad. The main services provided are in the sectors of materials being both ferrous and non-ferrous. Urja labs are situated at Pune, Maharashtra. The tests are mostly chemical and mechanical in nature. The alloys taken as test samples are mostly Aluminium, ferrous and other non-ferrous metals alloys & products, welds & welded test specimens. Mechanical tests are mostly of destructive and non-destructive or microscopic and ultrasonic type which are aimed at determining hardness, bending strength, loading, impact loading, grain size, etc. Chemical tests determine element content, density, moisture absorption, ductility, malleability, lustre, and other similar properties.
