    About Test Labs, Controllerate of Naval Armament Inspection

    Controllerate of Naval Armaments has been entrusted by the government of India to fulfil the requirement of the Indian Navy with respect to testing, quality assurance and inspection services. For that they have established a testing facility in the city of Visakhapatnam, in Andhra Pradesh. The facility is equipped with latest technological instruments to conduct chemical and mechanical testing on multiple products and materials required by the Indian Navy. Few of the products which are subjected to these tests include plastic, rubber, leather, explosives, pyrotechnics and lubricants. They function under the aegis of central Government undertaking and cater to the defense sector of the country, therefore they cannot afford to provide substandard services. Since inception they have been proffering superlative services.
