    About State Public Health Laboratory

    The State Public Health Laboratories is an example of the efficient variety of government services being provided to the common people. The State Public Health Laboratory at Maharashtra is the service provider of cardiovascular, antipyretics, and analgesic anti-inflammatory to the people of Maharashtra. Apart from these, they also provide numerous variety of biological testing like total plate count, coliform bacteria detection, E. coli detection, salmonella detection, and aerobic microbial count on a wide range of products like non-alcoholic beverages, milk and milk products, malt-based and malted milk foods, and packaged drinking water or mineral water. They also perform chemical tests like moisture, total ash, acid insoluble ash, non-volatile ether extracts etc., on food and agricultural products. The State Public Health Laboratory of Maharashtra is NABL accredited laboratory that has received the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 certification.
