The lab conducts chemical testing on materials like textile auxiliaries which undergo tests like Water Absorption, Flammability, Colour fastness to washing etc., metals like Carbon & Alloy Steel, Aluminium, Copper undergo tests like Lead, Boron, Carbon etc., lubricants undergo tests like flash point, colour etc., water like battery water, waste undergo tests like pH, oil and grease, dissolved oxygen and many more. The lab also conducts mechanical testing on materials like Textile materials, paper & paper products, Metals, plastics, rubber, leather etc. undergo tests like Tensile Strength, Hardness, Tensile Test, Pilling resistance of fabric and many more.
