    About Solar Lighting Laboratory, The Energy and Resources Institute

    Solar Lighting Lab, established in 2007 works towards finding reliable and cost effective solutions for solar lighting. The lab has been set up evaluate the performance of solar lighting products. For this purpose the lab is located in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The lab conducts electrical testing on materials like Stand-Alone Lighting Kit, Stand-Alone Lighting Kit With Charge Controller or Independent Charge Controller, Stand-Alone Lighting Kit With Mechanical Charging Option etc. and the test they undergo are like Electromechanical Charge Test, Electromechanical Charger Power Rating, Standby Loss Measurement, Strain Relief Test and many more. The lab also conducts Photometry testing on materials like Stand-Alone Lighting Kit (Integrating Sphere System) and the tests which they undergo are like Light Output Test, Luminous Flux measurement and many more. The lab has technicians to provide these services.
