It is also one of the leading manufacturer and supplier of defence weapons. Its Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) department looks for the improvements in the power utility section that is well supported by its R&D department. Its Laboratory, Reliance Infrastrucutre Laboratory, located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, has highly efficient instrumentation for the electrical testing of AC Static Watthour Meters, Cl 1 and 2 ( Single phase & 3 phase) and AC Static Transformer operated Watthour and Varhour meters (Class 0.2S & 0.5S). Besides, the laboratory is also well equipped for the electro-technical calibration of AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, power factor and active/reactive AC energy.
