    About Regional Water Testing Laboratory O/o Deputy Director

    In the start, the job of this department was restricted to the information compilation and institution of model farms. The agricultural department was created in 1875. It became part of the Land Record Department in 1880. In 1880. The Departments of Agriculture was officially created on 1 December 1920, after adopting the Government of India Act of 19 1919, as a consequence of the autonomous Agricultural Department. Farming operations, such as crop growing, preservation of soil, sugar cane manufacturing, horticulture, and settlement were covered by the operations of the agriculture department. Activities related to the manufacturing of sugar cane have been transmitted to the freshly structured Sugar Cane Department after independence. This also divided agro-marketing from the agriculture department. The Agriculture Department under its current form continues to work with various institutions, e.g. the UP Seed Development Corporation State Seed Certification Institute, the UP Agriculture Research Council, to accelerate agriculture production-related activities. The primary aim of the Department of Agriculture is to accelerate the growth rate of forestry, plant manufacturing and efficiency, which will reinforce families ' financial position and enhance the way they live. The department's aim is to introduce an appropriate system to remove national disparities and create jobs.
