    About Regional Laboratory, Textile Committee, New Delhi

    Textile Committee, as an organization, started functioning from 1964. It is propounded to ensure the quality of textiles and textile machinery both for internal consumption and export purposes. One of the laboratories is located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu among other. The well-equipped lab conducts chemical testing on textiles and textile auxiliaries, fabrics and garments. As superfluous to its principal motive of ensuring the ‘quality’ of its textile products, it simultaneously takes up scientific, economic and technological research. Thus, it delineates almost all interests of the textile sector and hence, strengthens itself to pursue higher achievements in this sector.
