About Regional Drugs Testing Laboratory Central Drugs standard Control Organisation

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, headed by the General Division of Health Services of the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) is the national regulatory authority (NRA) of India. The headquarters of the FDA are situated at Bhawan, Kotla Road, New Delhi 110002 and have six zonal headquarters, four sub-zonal headquarters, and thirteen port departments. The Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940 and Regulation 1945 have provided national and government authorities with numerous duties in respect of medicines and cosmetics. The law & regulations created therein shall be consistently implemented to ensure the security, privacy, and welfare of clients by controlling medicine and dentistry. In an attempt to guarantee the security, effectiveness, and qualities of the medical product produced, produced and circulated in the nation, CDSCO is continuously thrilled to achieve transparency, accountability and uniformity of facilities. According to the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, the CDSCO shall be charged with approving, conducting clinical trials, establishing drug standards, controlling the quality of imported drugs in the country and coordinating State Drug Control Organizations ' activities, providing expert advice to ensure uniformity of the implementation of the Law on Drugs and Cosmetics.
