    About Plastic Testing Centre, Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET), Madhya Pradesh

    Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) was established in 1968 by Government of India with the assistance of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) at Chennai. The main objective of setting up of the institute was to develop manpower in different disciplines of Plastics Engineering & Technology. CIPET Centre in Madhya Pradesh was established at Bhopal in the year 1988. It provides Training, Technical and Consultancy Services in Design, CAD/CAM/CAE, Tool Room, Plastic Processing and Testing. The Plastics Testing Department is involved in quality testing of plastics materials and products as per national and international standards, characterisation of plastics and composites, consultancy services on setting up of testing laboratories and development of new test methods and their validation. The Bhopal lab is approved by NABL as per ISO/IEC 17025 specifications.
