About Naval Explosive Radiography Centre, Naval Armament Inspectorate
Naval Armament Inspectorate comes under the Indian Navy, established for the inspection of the armaments and explosives used by the army. It is responsible for checking the naval stores and armaments for the safety and reliability of armaments Naval Explosive Radiography Centre at the Naval Armament Inspectorate in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh is a laboratory which aims at providing non- destructive tests for the safety and quality analysis of explosives. This laboratory conducts credible radiographic examination using gamma ray source Co 60 of the explosives filled in Torpedo, Missile & Rocket Warhead Bombs, Sea Mines & Depth Charge, etc. This radiography centre is well equipped with the explosive testing machines.
