    About National Agro Foundation-Laboratory Services Division

    The National Agro Foundation has developed the establishment of contemporary laboratories for soil testing and food testing laboratories that are fully aware of the need for agricultural technology facilities. The NAF Laboratory Services Division includes the Soil Testing Lab and Food Testing Lab and offers analytical services for the growth of food and agriculture. NAF Soil and Food Testing Labs are accredited by NABL, Govt. according to ISO / IEC 17025:2005 of India. The contemporary soil and food testing facilities are located at the NAF Research and Development Centre in Taramani, Chennai and offer the following services: Analytical Services Comprehensive Soil Analysis Food Analysis Organic Fertiliser Analysis Bio products Analysis Metal Analysis Training Consultancy In order to avoid the loss of soil and water and to preserve and maintain natural resources, NAF is taking up watershed in several areas of the nation. The fundamental essence of the watershed is not only natural resource conservation, but also the accrued advantages of increasing groundwater, cropping intensity and improving farm efficiency. This will not be efficient unless farmers are enriched with technological developments to enhance conservation resource efficiency utilization.
