    About Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Testing Station

    In 1956, a field level Institute of the Development Commissioner (MSME), under the ministry of MSME, Govt. of India established the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises in Hyderabad. MSME-DC is the pinnacle body for defining MSME policies in the country. It is also helpful to implement advertising exercise through its country-wide network of MSME and their branches-MSME Field Testing Stations, Prototype Development Centres and Tool Rooms. MSME-Hyd helps to assist current & expected executive by giving techno-managerial consultancy facilities and guidance in various areas. In 1984, one more MSME centre was established in Andhra Pradesh as MSME-DI, Visakhapatnam which has an attached Workshop. The upgraded services at MSME Testing Station, Shantnagar, Hyderabad include testing services in diverse fields like Mechanical, Chemical and Metallurgical under the administrative control of MSME-DI, Hyderabad. MSME-DI boost its services to the integrated part of Andhra Pradesh.
