    About Meter Testing and Calibration Laboratory, The TATA Power Company Limited

    The Meter Testing and Calibration Laboratory is located in Mumbai and is a part of the TATA Power Company Limited, the one behind the generation and distribution of electricity across the country. The laboratory provides services for Electrical testing of Electricity measuring instruments such as AC static transformer using Starting condition test, No-Load Condition test, Repeatability of Error test etc. It also measures the Range/Frequency and Calibration Measurement Capacity of AC power/Energy across a single phase and three phase (Active/Reactive). This is done using Power or Energy reference meter through Direct/Comparison method. The laboratory is ISO certified and has a huge employment number of professionals who manage the entire system, make it efficient to ease the process of Electricity generation, management and distribution. The laboratory is recognized for its remarkable contribution to Renewable and Non-Renewable power generation too.
