In this process various relevant substances are also important which enable smooth electricity transmission process. Transformers and supporting elements serve as mediums for this transmission and it is the responsibility of this public sector entity to maintain efficient operation of the same. Insulating oils are essential for transformers to function, therefore this Navratna Company had initiated a testing facility establishment commonly referred to as the Insulating Oil testing lab. Here chemical test of transformer oil is undertaken to ensure no obstruction to the transmission process. It is associated with a central PSU hence has to ensure that the services that it provides are above the pre-determined regulatory standards.
