    About Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology (IPFT)

    Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology or IPFT was established as an autonomous institution in the year 1991, at Gurgaon, Haryana, under the governance of Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of chemicals and fertilizers. As an initiative under the program “Make in India”, the IPFT handles the domestic production of urea and NPK fertilizers. Also, Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology strives at creating and developing various safer, environment-friendly, and highly efficient pesticide formulations. Apart from undertaking numerous in-house, grant-in-aid, and industry-sponsored projects; It also offers various training programs for a large number of international and national trainees. Different types of chemical tests are performed at the IPFT laboratory that ensures that the pesticide being produced meets all the needs and requirements and is environment-friendly too. Some of the chemical tests being performed are acidity, alkalinity, emulsify able concentration, deltamethrin flow, Imidacloprid technical, and many more tests on fruits and vegetable products to ensure their quality. The IPFT is an IOS/IEC 17025:2005 accredited laboratory.
