    About CGR Cohin Assay (Unit of Cochin Hallmark Co. Pvt. Ltd.)

    CGR Metalloys Pvt. Ltd., Cochin, started operations in 1994 as the 1st scientific gold refinery for manufacturing 999 bullion in India, after the gold control act was repealed in March 1993 by the Government of India. This MSME venture is registered with the Government of India and is an approved bullion manufacturer and mint. With fully imported fire assay laboratory, refining plant and technology from Europe, we have the technical capability to refine any scrap from 20% gold content to the purest bullion of 999.9 fineness, refining several tonnes of gold for the past 2 decades, mostly from jewellery scrap and imported mined dore at our integrated refinery, we employ different refining methods such as inquartation, acqua regia and electrolytic refining.
