    About Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute

    Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, established in 1958 is a research and development institute for mechanical engineering which ensures quality of the products and hence has set up a lab for testing facilities. The lab is located in Durgapur, West Bengal. The lab conducts mechanical testing on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Few of the tests which these materials undergo are like tensile test (which includes %elongation and %reduced area) and Fatigue test to determine the quality of product. The lab aims at ensuring satisfaction of customers regarding quality, delivery and cost of technology & services. The lab is powered by talented and experiences researchers carrying out accurate and reliable services.
