    About Central Food Laboratory, Department of Food Technology and Quality Control

    Central Food Laboratory of Nepal has been established under the aegis of the Government of Nepal. The facility has been entrusted with the responsibility to ensure the food and agricultural products being circulated in their country as above pre-determined regulatory standard. To ensure that the Laboratory has been brimmed with state of the art technologically advanced, modern instruments to undertake chemical tests. Few of the products that are subjected to testing include cereal and pulses, coffee, cocoa, edible oils, fats, fruits, herbs, spices, condiments, honey, milk, dairy products, tea and others. Since the lab is owned by the government it has to ensure that the services offered are excellent so that public gets maximum benefits.
