    About Captain Srinivasa Murti Drug Research Institute of Ayurveda

    Captain Srinivasa Murti Drug Research Institute for Ayurveda and Siddha Drug Development was establish to emphasize on the healing benefits that this branch of medicines can offer. The research institute is situated in the Aringar Anna Government Hospital in Chennai Tamil Nadu, in the year 1963. Various initiatives have been undertaken by this institute for this purpose, one of which is setting up a laboratory. The facility is equipped with state of the art testing instruments for conducting chemical and biological testing of various subjects. Biological testing is conducted on plasma, liver, kidney, heart tissues, and adrenal tissues of laboratory animals, ayurvedic plant drugs and natural drugs.
