    Bangladesh Standards ad Testing Institution (BSTI) is the national institution of Bangladesh that looks after standardization, metrology, testing and quality control of the various industrial raw materials and goods. Its Testing Laboratories were established in 1956 in Dhaka, Chittagong and Khulna. The Chemical Testing Laboratories provides tests to check for the relevant chemical products of a diverse range of products. The Chemical Testing Laboratories have two divisions as Chemical Laboratories and Food & Bacteriological Laboratories It is well equipped with reliable instruments such as atomic absorption spectrophotometer, lovibond tintometere, flame photometer and gas chromatograph.. Analysis of food products, chemicals, fuels, soaps and metals can be done with high accuracy and great precision in these laboratories.
