    The Indian tea research association, established in 1964, led to the commencement of a new era. It unfolded the skyline of tea research on all aspects of tea cultivation and processing with its experimental station in Jorhat, Assam. The analytical laboratory is finely equipped with contemporary equipments. Chemical testing is done on materials like soil, fertilizers, organic manures, food and agricultural products like Tea. Technology transfer along with a well-developed advisory network covers a number of states’ land in India. Tea, with its medicinal and herbal properties gets high on demand and this firm undoubtedly continues to strengthen its productive sectors for the supply.
