About Indiana Test, Calibration and Certification Services (A Division of Indiana Ferro Alloys)

Indiana Laboratories have been in existence since 1999 providing testing and calibration services, along with consultancy services and failure analysis services as well. It gives quality assurances with its calibration services which measures instruments against the underlying industry standards to look for any discrepancy. In field of testing, it offers services likes non-destructive tests, chemical test, mechanical test, metallography, welders qualification procedures and corrosion tests. The NDT services that it provides includes ultrasonic flaw detection, magnetic particle testing and dye penetration testing. Chemical testing is done to examine the chemical properties of the material, it add utility in the design and manufacturing process. Mechanical tests include tensile tests, bend rebend tests, flattening tests, flaring tests, transverse test and compression tests. These tests help in improving the mechanical efficiency of the materials being subjected to testing procedures. To examine the materials for any corrosion from external forces the materials and instruments have to undergo corrosion tests like neutral salt spray tests, acetic salt spray tests, copper acetic salt spray tests and humidity tests. After going through these test the materials are deemed to be fit for use. Its lab has received many certifications for its excellent quality of work like RDSO spectrometric analysis, thermal calibration certificate, mechanical calibration certificate and electro technical accreditation certificate.
