About Electronics Test & Development Centre (Bangalore)

Electronics Test & Development Centre (BANGALORE) functions under the aegis of the prestigious department of Electronics and IT, Government of India. These laboratories are a part of Standardization Testing, Calibration and quality certification directorate, hence are responsible for providing testing and certification services. As the name suggests they are exclusively into electronic testing and calibration of equipment and devices. The centre situated in Bangalore, Karnataka is one of the accredited labs which has been established under the directorate. The services provided by Electronics Test & Development Centre have been acclaimed all over the country and the techniques used are tested and verified. Some of the services offered are electrical testing of power system protection relays such as electromechanical, electrical relays – numerical, over current, earth fault, differential, ac voltage, frequency, pf, protection relay, measuring instruments-electrical and electronic (static) energy meters, lamps, luminaries and accessories, power stablisers and UPS, domestic electrical appliances etc.
