Electrical Laboratory of NTPC Dardi (Coal) is located at Gautam Bodda Nagar in Uttar Pradesh. NTPC (National Thermal Power Corporation) Limited is a nationwide service provider in the fields of Electricity Generation and Distribution & Natural Gas Production and Distribution. It is the largest Thermal & Electrical Power Generation Company. To provide the best quality and develop a stronger customer base, NTPC also provides R&D facility for its various electro-technical instruments. Its one such unit is the NTPC Dadri (Coal) that has an Electical Laboratory. The laboratory is facilitated with modern equipment to calibrate the various electrical instruments, electrical machines and devices. The instruments provide precise and accurate measurements of the various electrical parameters including AC/DC Voltage, AC/DC Current, Frequency and DC High Resistance. Instruments such as Decade Resistance Box, Multifunction Calibrator Fluke 9100 are used to perform the calibration tests.
