    About Central Power Research Institute, Bhopal

    Central Power Research Institute is an autonomous body under the Government of India. It carries out various services and activities to enhance the power sector of the country. India is a vast country with immensely dense population and hence its need for power is also massive. The CPRI is an initiative to help fulfill the growing demands of the population in a sustainable manner. Among its various services, it conducts calibration processes to ensure that there are no errors in generation and distribution of power, so that there is no wastage of scarce resources. Its calibration facility is equipped with state of the art technologically advanced instruments to carry out thermal and electro-technical calibration over various instruments. Since its inception it has been providing superior standard of services. This can be attributed to its technological advancements and committed workforce.
