About Central Laboratory, Bureau of Indian Standards

Bureau of Indian Standards commonly abbreviated as BIS, is one of the widely accepted central institutions that prescribes standards for various fields. Standards can ensure safe, reliable and superior quality of goods. To spread the need of adhering to standards, it has itself established a number of testing and calibration facilities to give certifications to those products which qualify the standard norms. One of such calibration facility is located in the city of Ghaziabad in U.P. The facility is equipped with latest technological developments and instruments to conduct electro-technical calibration processes. Sources and measures are calibrated here for various instruments. Since its inception it has been providing superior standard of services. This can be attributed to its technological advancements and committed workforce.
